DJitalEssence has always had a passion for music and growing up with it all around her gave her the desire to produce her own one day. She grew up with a wide variety of influences before she got hooked on dance music and found a love for house and garage sounds. As a child she played the drums and the piano and she always had a natural ear for music & rhythms. Those foundations have enabled her to to create her own quite unique sound that she continues to develop. She now also remixes other artists, managing to stick whatever ingredients she is supplied with into her blender, add some essence to it and come up with something that is full of original flavor.

She launched her label Vital Grooves in 2009 with the first 3 tracks "Like A Needle", Just For The Ladies" and "Just A Groove" and since then has embarked on countless remix projects and more of her own personal tracks which were tested on promo's throughout the year as she developed her style and learnt more skills in the studio. During this Summer 2010, she will finally be releasing her first official tracks for distribution in most digital download stores...so keep an ear out for them in June/July and watch the continuous flow from there!

She also produced a remix for Lorenzo/Mr Killa in Trinidad this May which has been given the go ahead and additionally her 2nd remix for Axis Trax "Frequency" feat Donna Hidalgo is also soon to be released!
