As a female DJ in the industry, DJitalEssence (formally Lady DJ Essence in the analogue days) has always been deep in her selection with underground house roots that progressed into UK Garage and the various sub genre's that have followed. Her box rarely contained the top ten and she has often preferred playing something new fresh and innovative rather than the tried and tested. This year she's back out in the mix again with a revitalised selection of grooves to make you move. Her style is a fusion of house & garage sounds, deep sexy dubs, positive vocals, deep funky electro grooves, some broken beats, deep tech-house and the odd classics thrown in for good measure! Essence is just starting to take bookings again this summer after a break while she focussed on her production, gained her BSc in Audio Technology with Multimedia and set up the foundations of this netlabel.
