In this section we will be featuring female artists that also produce & engineer music. The area of production/engineering of music is still not one that many females have the desire to enter and really take to a professional level but there are a few out there that have ended up on that path and are managing to find their own sound.

There are plenty of females out there that certainly co-produce, direct instruction on or provide input to musical works. Many are used as marketing tools by the industry having tracks put out under there names as works that they have written, but only a small percentage of these ladies actually spend the hours necessary on the buttons to solely produce, arrange, compose and engineer the music.

As a female artist who has, by circumstance, had to learn these skills to produce her own music DJitalEssence is providing this platform to set herself and those who are also working hard on the buttons apart and give them the credit they are due in what they do.

Nowadays there are plenty of female DJ's out there mixing it up in all genre's of the DJ world and from this generation will spring more females that are inspired to get into the more technical aspects of production and engineering.
