Just what is a Vital Groove?

Well, vital means alive, possessing life, being essential for life.

In this context, groove is a loose term used to give description to the music.

A Groove is something that makes you move, mentally, physically and or emotionally. To know if a groove can do this you require the ability to hear the groove, not just listen to it, and when you hear the groove, you feel the groove and understand its deeper sense and meaning.

Grooves are of are often listened to and enjoyed by many but only truly heard by the few. Whatever level they are experienced they are able to lift the spirit in some way by releasing an emotion, making you dance, sing, cry, feel joy, help you to understand love, help you to feel it or share it and help you to understand more about yourself and the world around you.

Vital Grooves launched quietly in 2009 with three tracks, "Just For The Ladies", "Like A Needle (Get Into This Groove)", and "Just A Groove", the first three releases by DJitalEssence. Since then there has been a steady stream of tracks and remixes coming from this girl..so watch this space..all tracks are fully composed, arranged, engineered and mastered by DJitalEssence to the best of her ablility, which is ever growing!
